The lighting on this one was really dodgy. This was my third attempt but I got the lighting I was trying for and was photobombed by a pair of ravens as a free bonus.

An unidentified organism (plant/fungi/???) off the trail at Bead Lake, WA:

A large fungus that caught my eye on a forested, mountain trail walk in Manning Park, BC - a tortoise shell-like colour, and to me, resembled a 'skate or ray' (fish). (July/2019) Camera on my iPad Mini 4.

Apologies, but I haven't been out with a full colour camera in a while, so scraping the barrel with some more infrared shots...

Ladies chatting (full version) color
Drove to do a walk about shoot. Parked the car, diagonal parking, on a less car traveled street (backing the car out can be a challenge into on coming traffic). I saw these two ladies in the window directly in front. The lady on the left pointed at my smart car, and the lady on the right leaned over to look. I waved at them, they waved back and smiled. Got my stuff together and did a walk. Upon returning, I noticed the two ladies still chatting. I picked up the X100T, got out of the car and set up to photograph these women. Both women saw me; I pointed to the camera, then pointed to them. The lady on the right nodded Yes, the lady on the left put her hand over face. I snapped two images. This is the full version.
During my walk I noticed the air/environment to be still and 'depressed'. Only a handful of people were on the streets. When I returned, local news was broadcasting Tornado storm warnings. Heavy rain, winds and large size hail with Tornado debris being tracked by Doppler radar.
