Yeah, we‘ve had rain in the forecast for 3 days and have gotten exactly nothing. It’s so dry that everything is looking rather tired here, too.

You re right, I just realized it!
When in the military, Bob Ross was stationed at Eielson AFB (about 5 miles from where I took this photo). The spruce trees in his paintings are a good representation of how they look all around the interior of Alaska.

Thank you! Those prairie sunrises can be a lot of fun to try and capture the glow, especially in October, my personal favorite month. Here in Denver, the cottonwoods and aspens are in various stages of turning yellow. They're much further along in the mountains but sort of mixed down here on the front range. The grasses and reeds are coming along nicely though.
