I remember my brother-in-law's reaction when my sister told him. He looked surprised, really very surprised. My crack was 'You look surprised. Do you know how you get those?'. He looked shocked, and then laughed so hard. *shrug* It got easier for him, I suppose. They had FOUR more.

This individual was somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 the way up , and he and his partner ( there's another out of view) are planning to spend the night anchored to the rocks 1000-1500' above the base . It's 3000' approx. from bottom to the top . Not Me!!!!!
The climbers were just visible to the unaided eye from my viewing point .The image was cropped big time to get this shot . Says a lot for the lowly 20mp. m43 sensor and the Pana/Leica glass.

Did his wife pack the bags? That’s how I felt at airport security when we used to go on holiday….. ?
