Tanagra (not really)
Yup ... sure was glad . I found I was using it a lot more than I thought I would , especially at the wider end . The in - body corrections , plus the RAW editor I usually use (DXO Photolab) seem to minimize the distortions one might expect from something this wide . Didn't realize this shot was done at 8mm until I looked at the lens data prior to entering in below the image in my post .
Like all the Leica DGs, it can be nicely sharp with good rendering. I also have the 8-18, and it’s great for landscapes. I bought mine used, and it didn’t come with the hood. The cheapest one of those I could find was all the way over in the UK! Sometimes those hoods are crazy expensive!

We're kinda hung out to dry if we lose a pana. hood . There's no picking up a used one easily , or a 3rd party copy like you can with Canon or Nikon. Got my 8-18 used (MPB), too , but I got the hood , and pouch .

Outside the Michigan Avenue Apple Store after picking up my watch, had to wait for the bridge lift 😂 ended to go back home
