My first macro shot when I got the 13 pro. Nothing clean or edited up, but neat that it could be taken from a phone.

The rains came last night, and the wind is coming later this week, so shortly enough our tree out back will no longer be this pretty.

Of all the birds that visit our feeders, the downies are the bravest. I can (carefully) walk out there and, say, (carefully) fill the bird bath with fresh water, and the downies won't fly away.

Halloween Skeleton Volleyball (I talked to the guy who put this up and he had a tree chopped down, so it's not complete yet).
Holy moly! Perhaps the cardinals in Central Park are used to humans and are less skittish...but in my backyard they are the most skittish bird there is. If I blink, they fly away, lol. To get this close is awesome!
Another day, another set of blue jays, lol. At the moment they are the prettiest birds visiting (now that the goldfinches have turned dull gray). This one was really playing around with that leaf, which activity I did not get a photo I liked. So here he is proudly grasping it. 
Blue Jays might be the prettiest, but they are bullies compared to other birds. Even their squawking sounds bullying. 🤣Another day, another set of blue jays, lol.
