Grandson between both parents heading downstream.
He slowly worked his way up there and hung upside-down for 30 minutes before moving to the cherry tree. We hoped he would catch a few grasshoppers. iPhone XR.
A year ago today my wife and I were in a car collision that has continued (and evidently will continue) to change our lives. I considered posting a pic of the car post-accident (other photos about it wouldn’t be gruesome, but would be a tiny bit gross), but I’ve decided against it for this year.

For some reasons, this field has been sown with sunflowers and thistles:
I really like catbirds. when they expose their undersides, their rust-colored vents are pleasing against the slate gray of the rest of their bodies.
