.. Nature painted "watercolour" looks to views from the balcony of our apartment this morning -- this one was caught about 8 am.
we saw no insects, so likely abandoned, but we hustled on anyway

Halloween is quite popular in my area, and at times, it feels even more significant than Christmas. Personally, I have a slight preference for Halloween decorations because they're visually appealing during the day too.
.. our apartment's lobby is now all decked out for Halloween .. here's a display I thought was well-placed!! 
I haven’t ventured outside of my house and immediate garden due to having a bad cold so here’s a shot of our creepy old gnome to test out my new 7Artisans 25mm 1.8. I’m really impressed with it so far - it renders just how I like and is a great pairing for the X-Pro1. It’s amazing that they can produce such a good lens for so little money.
