My impromptu street portrait of Frida, in San Francisco.

As an aside, the real Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera were married for a 2nd time in San Francisco's City Hall in 1940. Diego Rivera was in San Francisco to create his 74' long x 22' high fresco mural called Pan American Unity for the Golden Gate International Exposition held on Treasure Island.

Fuji X-Pro1 with 7Artisans 25mm 1.8 @F1.8, 1/340, ISO400
How do you like the 7Artisans 25mm?
I have been interested in getting one as I do (almost) all my shooting manually with older vintage lenses…

.. from this day in 2021 --- when out shopping at a local market, I saw and purchased a fresh, locally-grown, whole, large stalk of celery being sold with the leaves still attached. A very unfamilair sight, and I sure wanted one. I guess with my loud 'yeah' upon seeing and picking up one, the woman working and arranging the produce displays was so delighted to see my expression, she offered me (at no extra cost) a large bag full of some more broken stems and leaves, which I welcomed and graciously accepted, and came home with celery "delights" to use and enjoy for now and later (much of the leaf greenery was frozen for use over time, it sure worked well, and was so enjoyed).
