Human perception does a lot of processing and interpreting prior to any sort of awareness we might have of a scene. Light temperature is one example any photographer learns about, but everything we see is rebuilt out of retinal pixel arrays in elaborate subjective ways. Editing a photo to bring it closer to the experience we had with the subject seems like fair game.
Could be, but you just can't change the nature's beauty that way. Hydrangeas change colour as time goes, but by editing, they won't change on the shrub itself. They look so beautiful when they change colours, even in autumn.
