It is somewhat comforting that we have a monument to remember those who were killed by a rather deranged individual. However, the photo I posted earlier was of a man who sent soldiers to fight and die in the First World War, and yet we have a monument dedicated to him, maintained by the city and country, which has become a tourist attraction. There are many such monuments scattered across the globe. It’s a peculiar world!

Welcome to Photo of the Day. The POTD thread was started by iGary in May, 2006 and converted to a monthly thread in November 2007 by Arn. POTD is one of the most popular picture groups on MacRumors, often exceeding 500 posts and 20,000 views per month.
Photo of the Day is intended to be a showcase for your best pictures. There is no limit to your gear, just your imagination. P&S and film cameras are welcome along with DSLRs. There are no themes like the Weekly Contest, and no winners (or losers) either.

When you have a moment, could you snap some photos of a 'typical' computer arcade over there? They were absolutely buzzing with people the last time I was in China, which was quite some time ago.

If I come across one, I will and I’ll share it. Thus far I’ve been somewhat trapped in hotels and their environs - usually attached malls such as the IFC Mall where the Apple Store is.
