Another shot of Derwent Water in the Lake District, UK - after the sun had set, casting reds and pinks on the few remaining clouds. A night I'll remember for a long time as I actually felt like I had got away from it all during my holiday. It was so peaceful.

Fuji X-T2 with XF16-55mm f2.8 lens using Formatt Hitech 0.9 solid Neutral Density filter and a Lee Filters 0.3 Neutral Density Soft Graduated filter.

4mins / f11 / ISO 200

Beautiful. Amazed at how much movement is in that water for a 4 minute exposure.

The most red sunset I have ever seen. Pallas Yllas Tunturi NP.

Looks like you were painting a mask in PS! Very dramatic.

Handheld with the RX100m3. I'm definitely going to go back here with the Fuji and a tripod...

Since I bought a much lighter tripod I find I take it out with me a lot more. Still looks a beautiful spot though.

That is just awesome, although the height makes my stomach role!! The clarity and colours are excellent, well done.

Mark, you are showing us mere mortals how to do it, that's beautiful.

A garden visitor. He's much braver than his parents were. He is going from the juvenile to adult feathers at the moment, so he's not looking his best!

Excellent shot, AFB.
I've been chasing a loudly singing robin for a couple of days now but still no luck. I can hear him but he flits around so fast I can't get the camera to my eye quickly enough :(
Beautiful to hear though.

Cheers :)

Interesting. Robins have always been some of the tamest birds for me. I can often get within a few feet of them before they take off, or are you saying they just don’t hold still for you?

This one is fairly tame. His parents though were not. But he'd show up if we are outside.
This was taken through the patio window though.

This one is very jittery and flies off if I move indoors, let alone try to get a photo.
I tried sitting still in the doorway today; I could hear him singing but he didn't come out of hiding.

I think that one of the key things for AFB is that the birds in their garden are given food, whereas ours are not.

Cheers :)

Well that's an easy fix!
