no i have an 8+ and my camera bump is sideways. i think it’s a x of some sort.
A first sign of fall ... early progression of pigment changes .. local walk this morning.
The 8 plus is under $400 in the Apple refurbished store. The 8 is even cheaper! Still a perfectly good phone that can be had with a 1 year warranty (and Applecare eligible) for cheap.

It's iPhone 13 launch day so first photo taken with my iPhone 13 Pro!
It feels odd to me this year not to be part of the excitement around the launch of a new iPhone.....since these past few months photography gear has taken priority, no new iPhone for me this Launch Day!
Spent last weekend enjoying the fall foliage here, since fall is certainly among us in the Rockies. The left half of the photo was taken Sunday, the right half on Monday. Completely clouded in! Because of the reservation system at Maroon Bells, there were a lot of disappointed people Monday morning since that was the only day they had a reservation to go to the lake. It was still beautiful with the lake and the trees and the clouds, but certainly not the same as with the big peaks sticking out as they usually are!
I already posted the first morning (sunrise photo) of our camping trip to Fault Lake, ID. Here is the second morning, there was an active fire below Sand Point, ID and the smoke rolled in the previous night. Sad, but still beautiful:

I just installed the latest version of ON1 Photo Raw 2022. It’s an editor I’ve used a lot over the years. They recently merged their No Noise AI product into it.
This chickadee photo from yesterday did have a bit of noise - ISO 1600 at f5.6. It only took a few moments, but the improvements were noticeable.

It has been snowing non-stop since yesterday, but with a temperatures of 40 degrees F. when I took a photo of a crab apple, the snow melts soon after (having fun with the RF 100-500 lens focused at 500mm):

A very uncooperative moth. I waited some time for it to show off those colourful wings but (s)he had the advantage as I had a spouse who kept saying: "Would you hurry up."
True. Likewise. I'll wait to the next one myself before even considering upgrading.
