Thank you! Love my little squirrel friends! I noticed something I needed to correct so replaced the image with the corrected one, which messes up your view attachment link. Sorry about that!
I saw one or two on my walk where we are staying. But with the 24-70mm they would have been a speck in the screen.

Visitor Information Center entering Kansas. The RV clicked its tires together and we arrived home; not Kansas. We met the scarecrow, tinman and the lion along the twisty broken highway. Adventure, learning experience, disagreements, agreements, awesome people, memorable places. A 30-day portion of life that was worth experiencing -- one time.

My daughter had her photo taken right next to this very cutout, probably 5 years ago.

We decided not to attend this year. The costs were the same as usual and we weren’t sure that there would be sufficient numbers. From the reports we read that sounds about right.
I thought that might be the case. Not good for exhibitors but I wouldn't have felt comfortable if it was as busy as usual. I went on the Monday and there were quite a number of people but it wasn't packed. Maybe see you next year! ?

Very likely. Although some of the team aren’t sure the big shows will ever be what they were. Hard to say.

We spent some time yesterday at a place called The Wild Animal Sanctuary, an animal rescue place in Keenesburg, CO. It's vast. It's also amazing. The guy who runs it has been rescuing circus animals worldwide and the like for 4 decades. Also rescues animals from private "wild animal owners". There are "lions, tigers and bears" amongst others who come in, often at the point of death, and who've been kept in cages or mistreated all of their lives. He (and "he" is "they" - a large number of staff and volunteers) gives them medicine, vet care, lots of food, lots of love and vast enclosures on the plains east of Denver. They can live out the remaining years of their lives in peace and being cared for. He also owns a vast area where people are generally not allowed to go in southeastern Colorado as well as in Texas. None of the images over the next few days are "great photos" (no Powershot with me  ) but hopefully gives you a flavor for some of the animals. The light is direct and very harsh. But hey, that's Colorado at mid day.

First up is a bear having a good old scratch.
