The long time heavy rains that caused the flooding had an additional effect on us. Two months later we were overrun by an "invasion" of mustard weed plants. This is the pasture with it's 6 ft tall fence.

Reminds me, I need to finish the video from last year (voiceover script and music all that remain) from fields last year. About ready to burst out but don't know if will be under water this year.

Actually she likes the treadmill and sits on it when she wants me to start it. My living situation doesn't allow for her to get enough exercise outdoors and my trainer suggested this.
Good idea: I know puppies need a lot of exercise
 
I think my hummingbirds are gone for the year. šŸ˜¢ Last sighting was 3 days ago. I hope they travel safely and make it back to my feeders next year.
Our local ones disappeared for a couple of days about a week ago then just showed up again like nothing happened. I keep putting out food until I don't see them for a couple of weeks in case they don't migrate (and in case they are just off taking a staycation at one of the local casinos šŸ¤£).

I keep mine up for several weeks also, but have never seen one migrating from the north. Easy to miss a quick stopover though.
