Animal sanctuary just north of Denver. I love when cats - even big (ish) cats - sleep with their tongue out
. The guy that runs this massive operation rescues animals from all over the world who live in appalling conditions (circuses, homes, roadside attractions and the like) and buys up massive amounts of land to house them. Lions, tigers, other cats, bears, wolves, coyotes and other similar animals. Pretty amazing place and guy.
4 hummingbirds were in the garden feeding and chirping and buzzing about. I kinda suspect it was a family based on the appearance of 2 of them. If we held still, they came pretty close. Then at one point a female goldfinch landed nearby, gave us a puzzled look, and took off. Managed to get a few photos of each!
Very cool photo. My app called āSeekā says itās a tricolored heron. Iāve never seen one before. App is helpful to me but not always accurate.

View of the control booth from above ... from yesterday's church service ... left to right is (1) the presentation station, which controls what information is displayed on the video screens (song lyrics, scripture passages, etc); (2) the video switcher station which controls the livestream video output, including switching between the three video cameras and input from the presentation station; and (3) the audio board which controls the audio mix for both the house and the livestream feed.

Another from the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, CO just north east of Denver. The guy who runs this place was instrumental in rescuing the tigers related to the Tiger King Netflix series. Bobcat here in this case, rescued from elsewhere.
