I looked if the same ships were there in my photos... but alas
There is the replica of the "Amsterdam" in both (the original was an 18th century ship owned by the Dutch East India Company. It was wrecked on the English coast in 1749. The replica was built by volunteers between 1985 and 1990).
Whoa! Love the fireworks like flash of light! Kind of Star Trekkie!View attachment 2256812

Probably lost from some kid or some pet: you should see what has been left around playgrounds...toys, jackets, shoes.I often come across strange discarded things on my walks:

This one is amazing to swim and not be scared.
This lovely boy is indeed an Alaskan Husky and he is also the dog featured in the photo I posted yesterday. He got in-and-out of the water a few times, but always had to be coaxed and encouraged, and usually didn't stay in any longer than he had to! I don't think he liked the entire in-the-pool experience. Quite a few of the dogs didn't. Actually, he was a puppy when his humans (also from Alaska) moved into the neighborhood so he may never have had the sleigh-pulling experience. This one is amazing to swim and not be scared.
Huskies hate water for a reason: they have to pull sleighs on ice and be scared of water because it could be deadly for them. I know first hand: our husky never liked to get wet.
They don’t need the experience, it’s in their DNA passed to them by their ancestorsThis lovely boy is indeed an Alaskan Husky and he is also the dog featured in the photo I posted yesterday.
