I clearly need to step up my plantings next year. You get the best wildlife.

This one was at a natural park setting, and certainly a rare sighting. I have accustomed myself to spot any motion as I go, which certainly doesn’t make me a good walking partner! The Mrs is even worse, as she has taken to mushroom hunting. We don’t get very far when we go anywhere!


The fun part was this moth didn’t mind my presence, so I was able to get close, though he was still a challenge to photograph. The ironic part is he’s feeding on non-native thistle, though I’m sure he’d go with whatever was available!

Had a walk about during the Great Bath Feast this weekend…

Managed a few decent shots. Not easy when there are about a million hungry people milling about! 😀
