Some of you have to be photographers, right?
I see people selling DSLRs on the Marketplace all the time, and there seems to be a big gathering of professions here, so some of you must be.
or at least as a side hobby. I'm talking about you, macro nature people. (bugs & flowers)

I am a photographer. A professional? Not so much. lol. But I love taking photos and enjoy showing them off. Some are good, some are bad, some are really bad. Some have been published but only in smaller circ newspapers and 1 catalog. I have also been getting in video as well. Again, not a pro by any means.

Here is my website for those interested.

I love taking photos, and I usually go out with a group of friends from my photo class. I do a lot of urban exploration stuff, since I love the look of it. As far as equipment goes, I shoot with a pentax KX with a couple lenses (the stock one and ultrawide sigma are my favorites), and occasionally some filters.

Of course, in a fit of anger, I punched my laptop's palmrest, destroying the hard disk. I did my best to recover my photos, but almost nothing good could be saved (I opened up my disk and found a nice ring engraved on it :/). So, next time I go to shoot, I'll post some more pictures. Right now I only have portraits (from a B&W study), and I don't want to post pictures of people without their consent.

Also a quick tip for anyone in NJ, check out palisades interstate park. Last time I was there, it was a bunch of fun. It's right on the water, under the GW bridge, so it makes for some cool shots.

I love your photos - so interesting and gives a lovely but non invasive insight into your life.

I'm not one for taking photos - but I've had this urge to learn...I'm thinking of enrolling on a night class.

I travel to New York quite a bit and would love to be able to take really cool photos - think I would spend a day exploring the city for just taking photos.

First off I will have to borrow my Fiance's camera - he did photography for A-Level and used to model so he could teach me a thing or two.

Then I need to get my macbook (I've no computer/laptop atm, only my ipad2) and get my photoshop back on.

i have quite a nice collection of photos I've took from my recent trip to New York - so I may play about with them - although I don't have photoshop at the minute so I might have to wait a bit. I'm also in my final year at uni so I guess I'll be extremely busy anyways but watch this space - I'll have a few in by the end of the year :D

(can you tell your photos have inspired me? lol)

With iPhone 4...

I really like iPhone photos, I actually made a group for iPhone 1 photos.
I appreciate 3g-4 photos, but I think they're just too high quality and there's too many apps that change/edit them to really consider them in the same category.

I have an iPhone 1 right now and take a lot of photos with it (a lot of them are on my flickr), but I'm getting an iPhone 5 or 4s or whatever this month, so that's something I'm going to miss a lot, which probably sounds weird.

I'm a Photography Degree student, but I don't really have 1 place I can show my work at the moment, its something I really need to work on!

I have but its not really effective for me, I'll learn how to manage my own website as part of my course, not going to bother until then

What about this group?

Mine's better.

Just kidding, that's cool. Maybe mine's a bit unecessary then, although from the looks of it, that group seems really Apple Related. Not saying it shouldn't be, it is a Mac Rumors group, but for mine I intended it to be more of just photography by the community of Mac Rumors, just their personal photography, rather than Mac related stuff.
