I got my first DSLR a couple of months ago and am still very much getting used to using it. Here's a photo that i took yesterday.

I have a good instagram feed! Anybody? Okay....

Unfortunately my DSLR is now trashed and all my photos are gone since my external drive got wiped.

Good photos to everyone though. I'm going to have my hands on a nice DLSR this week and 2 weeks in June so I'll try to take some fun shots.

Ouch. That sucks. I would hate losing my camera, and even more so with all of my images on top of that. Makes me want to make a backup of my backups. lol.

Nice pictures everyone. I want to get into photography but don't really know where to start, anyone know some good tutorials/ websites?

Thanks

Scott Kelby's books really helped me when I first started. There are 4 out now. Amazon is a good source for them and he also has a website called Kelby Training if you learn better through videos. Membership there is $24.95 per month if I remember correctly.

Another good read is Understanding Exposure.

not really a "photographer" but I like taking pictures.

Not as much as I want to due to work and other reasons but I try whenever I can. Here's one I took yesterday during a BBQ gathering.

*I shoot with a 50D btw. Hopefully upgrade to a FF soon---ish.

All my links are in my signature but I can say I enjoy taking pictures of models and random landscapes
