My village here in Preston, Lancashire is flooded. The River Ribble (and the Darwen that feeds into it) are right over the tops and it's flooded the main road, the poor homes that back onto the river and a few businesses as well
The last few pics are of a very old, listed building that's home to an Italian called Pinocchios and they've been closed for 2 years due to fire damage; they've now been flooded out, again!
Some quick videos here too of the water and the bilge pumps running on the houses that back onto the river

The moon & Venus this evening. This is the first crescent moon for 2025! At least here in Texas.
iPhone 16 Pro max. The 5x camera images were taken with the ProCamera by Moment app. Manual focus, iPhone on a tripod.
The wide shot was with the fusion camera & ProRAW, Lightroom edits on all photos.
A 12w led panel light at a lower kelvin level was used to illuminate the tractor. Light value was at 13%.

Nyhavn with sun and snow. Tried this photo with Spectre and Light Stack. Spectre is hard to use with gloves. Light Stack is easier. This is almost SOC. Some very minor edits.
I like this one, very nice with the muted reflections. Nice colors too and good composition.
I got free Rangers tickets that had club access with an unlimited buffet, I took my dad as a Christmas gift. Food was excellent.

After the floods last week we were treated to snow last night and throughout the day here in Lancashire

Bitter weather here currently in Lancashire; -5ºC and a very hard frost. My cars right up the drive where they tend to stay fairly frost free; but it's solid with ice
