I bought a Pixel 7 Pro to test Android, since I had long not looked "outside" Apple and iOS and the truth is that I'm liking it a lot.
The camera compared to the iPhone 13 Pro Max seems to me far superior. I hate the processing that the iPhone does, even shooting in "ProRAW", it is very artificial and leaves the images very washed out, with "watercolor" effect. The HDR is sometimes so aggressive that it does weird things with the highlights.
The Pixel 7 Pro, I notice, takes more "natural" photos with noise where the iPhone washes out the image. The 5x zoom is good and that extra is appreciated, while the 30X is fine for something punctual, but not for taking a good picture. I guess in that sense the Samsung S23 Ultra will be better.
The "long exposure" mode works much, much better than on the iPhone. I find the motion sweep mode (which is in Beta) a bit exaggerated, making the car look like it's going 200 km/h even at low speeds.
Here are some taken with the Pixel 7 Pro, to see if I'm squeezing more out of this phone.
