I've been lurking on this thread for quite some time now since I love photography and I am continually stunned by everyone's photos. I readily admit that I am not in the same league as all of you, but I finally worked up the nerve to post one of the few photos I've taken that I'm not ashamed of (egg nog might have had something to do with this). It was taken 13 years ago on my trusty Minolta.

Foggy day in Minneapolis

Camera model :Canon EOS 30D
Date/Time :2006:12:29 04:21:06
Flash used :No
Focal length :43.0mm (Using 35 - 135 Canon USM lens)
Exposure time :0.100 s (1/10)
Aperture :f/7.1
ISO equiv. :125
Metering Mode :spot
Exposure :Manual
Light editing in iPhoto.

Playing around with Manual mode I took a few shots like this. The fog was giving a really cool psudo depth of field effect to the shot, however I had the camera set incorrectly to take advantage of it  . Actually the image didn't turn out as sharp as I would have hoped. Still learning how to take pictures of still objects that aren't cars :) .

Sure was foggy in Minnesota today, wasn't it? Nice shot, though. I want to go shooting in St. Paul sometime soon if we can get a nice day.:D

It's not that bad, I'd just straighten the horizon, and as fas as the left side goes it's nothing a little burn can't fix. The PP work looks almost HDR to me.
