Did someone forget to turn their iso down from 1600 before they went shooting again? :) :D

Aperture: f/5.6
Shutter: 1/200

Photoshopped the sky to boost the colors and a bit over exposed on the head, but overall I feel it's an ok shot!

Road less traveled Redeux

This is the same place as last time, only this time it was at night and we had lots of snow, and it was so cool walking in the woods at night when its snowing, because its so bright out from all the light reflecting off the snow.

Aperture: f/3.5
Shutter: 1/4
Exposure Bias: +2.0
ISO1600
Focal Length 18mm

I did change the white balance in Aperture so the snow actually looked white and not orange, because the camera takes all the light from the street lights. I don't really know how to do a custom white balance is all yet  still learing.

A couple of swans were down at the beach today.:)
Anyway, I like this photograph, but I feel like there's something missing... or some tweaking in Photoshop that needs to be done. But I've been playing around and just can't seem to get it right.

I think the seagull in the water is a bit out of place too.

I really like this picture. What camera did you use?

Thanks. The barn is actually pretty weathered, and the lighting during the shoot was horrible. But I shot in RAW, played around a little with the curves in Canon Digital Photo Pro. After curves, I desaturated a little. Then I blurred the corners a little bit just for kicks. Glad you like the picture.

Love this image. Have you desaturated or is it just wind and weather?

I just used a point and shoot camera... Sony DSC-P100, but I'll be upgrading to a Nikon D50 soon enough. The two swans were amazingly close; I could have reached out and pet them if I had wanted to. I was down at the beach again today and they came swimming right up within a foot of me, presumably looking for food.:p
