Okay guys, my first picture I'm submitting. I took this today near a dead-end road near some fields (obviously) while washing my car. It's been edited a good bit in Lightroom, because the original didn't have much color, and I wanted a little more. It's definitely not the most original shot, but I'm trying to find excuses to use my camera whenever I can.

Anyways, taken with my new Sony DSC-N2:

For all you out there that add borders to your images, what program/how do you do it. I've added some just by stretching the canvas/using built in border options, but they tend to come out too thin or very boring.

Thanks

San Francisco's Yerba Buena Gardens Carousel / MacWorld07 January 2007

This is my first post. I just love the Merry Go Round in downtown San Francisco. I liked the angle that brought in all these elements - Traffic, Carousel, Buildings and that beautiful dusk blue sky.

Camera: Sony DSC-H5B
ISO: 125

Shutter/Aperture: 0.5 s at f/2.8

This is my first contribution to this thread and my first panorama with my new camera. Its a view of the last divided capital of the world, Nicosia.

In the foreground you can see the venetian walls which surround the old city. Half of the city is Greek, and the other half and beyond the mountains in the north are Turkish occupied.

Yes, I love sepia tones. I think they're great when not over done. I promise, some day I'll post some color pics!

Ah the fishing pot..

I took one of that as well, mine is from late June, 2003. Between erosion and the rising lake level, it was underwater.

Whoa, I wouldn't have expected the "Fishing Pot" to evolve so much so soon...but the geology of that region is quite dynamic. Thanks for posting this!

Wine Barrels

Visited a winery over the weekend and got a tour behind the scenes. I managed to grab this shot handheld, leaning against a crate for support. I was surprised it came out OK given the long exposure.

Hips Don't Lie? :)

With what camera did you shoot it? I like the saturation and crispiness of it all. I'm not too happy with my lens and camera. Anyone suggest a decent Nikon DSLR and lens kit to take razor sharp pictures?

It was a retreat with a talent show, he did a funny mock up to that song  . The day we were about to go home I snapped a bunch o pictures. I let my artsy side come out.. and thats because I am not to arsty.. lol

I shot it with my Kodak Easy Share 5MP camera..
**Reading from the Camera**
Kodak EasyShare CX7530,
**On the lens it says**
Kodak Retinar Aspheric All Glass Lens 34mm-102mm

Whatever the heck that means... :p

Edit: Here is another one. We were bobbing for Apples.. there was something funny in this one... Haha

Excuse the pun for the topic these forums are about ;) :apple: :apple: :D
