Love the surf shots, but it is good to see you branch out! :)
Nice depth of field to get the bird sharp.

Just playing around with my new Sony t100 before I take it to Spain / Italy next week. Nothing to special about the photo. Not sure why the color is a little weird on the flower. Perhaps somebody can enlighten me?

Any chance you can post the exif data?
Was it sunny out or overcast?

It might just be a bit over exposed.

Is this the info you are looking for? If not, will you tell me how to get it? The photo was taken in the evening (6:30 ish), and if I recall correctly it was partly cloudy. I was using the Macro mode on auto settings.

On an unrelated note, when taking a modified (Shift + :apple: + 4) screenshot, what is the command to have it take the picture of the object?

Yup - flash on, that is probably your problem. It made the flower glow too much and the fix of flash and sunlight messed with the white balance.
Take the same shot with no flash and it should look better.

plant abstract #2

Thanks for the comment devilot. Here is another "plant abstract" interpretation. I like both, and they speak to me in different ways because of the difference in the movement of the arcs.

Anchor

I spent a couple hours on top of Stone Mountain in Georgia this evening. Many keepers. This one is of an anchor that was used to hold the platform that held the workers that created the carving on the face of the Mountain. Photoshop messed up so i can't make it look as good as i wanted to when i was taking it. Sucks i know:(

Argh! Please use .[/QUOTE]

Sorry, not in this thread. You can ask a mod, but this thread is supposed to be about large photos and constructive criticism.

Anyway, since SKY did not make it for #13, here was my first thought this morning.
