18.4% for a beer?
Wow.
My wines (not even the deep, rich and wonderful Amarone) do not come to 18.4%.
Good grief - hardly any of the sherries (fortified wines) I have consumed approach 18.4%.
What on Earth does a beer of that strength taste like? Does the alcohol overpower it?
It doesnt overpower it at all, and is quite sneaky. It was smooth to drink, and I'm glad I have 3 more. Definitely its one that should drank solo. Tonight, I will be having Black Tuesday, an Imperial Stout brewed in 2017 that clocks in at 19.5% ABV.

Black Tuesday 2017. It has aged nicely - booze is more pronounced. 19.5% ABV. This one glass already has me hit with a good buzz
Rule is, if you're still hungover, drink more beer and eat good food
