Asked after the peanut stout, but they didn’t have any. I took an imperial stout too, which was heavy but excellent. Thanks again for the recommendation. Cheers!

The peanut stout (Yellow Belly) is amazing - I cannot recommend it highly enough.

As far as I know, they have other fruit beers, as well.

Delighted that you have made the acquaintance of at least some of the beers from that stable.

Cheers!

Peanut stout? What does that taste like? Good to see you posting, Mobile. I haven't seen you in a while.

Very good. It got more boozy tasting after aging, but when its relatively fresh the coffee flavoring is amazing. My wife took a sip and coughed because it was quite strong :)

With strong beers, you need to have the strength balanced by flavour or taste - or masked a little - otherwise, it can be a bit overwhelming.

Strength alone won't cut it, if your aim is to produce a classic beer or stout.
