Not my pic but it is my bike sans wicker basket on the front and back luggage rack.

Also, a friend sent me white pedals because the black ones just aren't as pretty.

Picked this up on a verge site garbage collection.

New weekend project for me.

I mean no offense, but this ride seems to fit better (and be much more functional) than your older ride!

Like it!

It does, which is why I bought it. I'm a shorty, at 5'3", but I still have up to 3 more inches to grow. The 49cm should be good for me, even if I become 5'6". I have about 3mm clearance over the top tube, but the bike fits perfectly. I raised my saddle and lowered the bars to get it better set up for me. I rode it like this for 22 miles and I find it very comfortable and easy to get down and get aero.

One thing you'll notice is clearance over TT dosent really matter. It's all about TT length.

Is that a dura ace group set? How do you like it? I have little experience with shimano (im a campy guy).

It's full 105 (except for the Fuji brand brake calipers that I really don't care for). It's the new 105 5700 that incorporates old Dura-Ace features (under the bar tape cable routing, improved shift pivots, more ergonomic hoods, etc...). I absolutely LOVE it. The rd isn't shifting so well in a few gears, so instead of taking it back to performance and waiting for them to work on it (I lack adequate tools and experience), I'll bring it into the bike co-op when I go in to volunteer tomorrow and have the shop lead help me out. He knows anything and everything when it comes to bikes (he is cyccommute on BF).

Edit: 150 miles on the bike as of right now.

Sorry about the terrible pictures and the non drive side shot of the second picture. Theres no cassette on my race wheels at the moment so would've looked shocking anyways.

With training wheels.

DSCF0853.jpg

With race wheels which are currently undergoing some cosmetic surgery.

Considering removing the red/white graphics on the bike for a cleaner look.

bike in good shape ... only needed air in the tires.

logged a lazy 25k

a couple new biergartens and restaurants opened along the river :D also saw a few greyhound races and a small concert at a beat-up cafe at the harbor that looks quite promising for evening entertainment

In a sunny state of mind
I've been biking to work for a couple weeks now. :D

Felt so great to get it out after winter, even though it definitely could use some clean-up. I'm not hard-core about it though -- more like a slightly faster pedestrian than a real biker... :p:eek:

yeah, man.

it's not a race. there were hundreds of people out today. i'll start commuting to work again by bike this week (20k/round trip).

edit: I should also state that they just added "fast lanes" to the cycles paths in Copenhagen. That was extremely nice when I was there last week.
