Just put a 6000k HID system in my GX 470, wow what a difference. Who would think that a $54000 lexus new in 06 would come from the factory without it?!?!?

I don't know many luxury cars that come standard with Xenon lights or lights that have more of a day light temperature.

i know! it was optional on the old cts, not sure about the new one. pretty sure its an option on the 3 series and c class still, none of the rentals i used to buy had em. but a gx470? what a travesty...

The 3 series coupe has Xenons standard, and the 335i sedan has them standard and the 328i sedan is optional. The new CTS has projectors with the HID's optional on the DI model.

Well I am not talking about optional. He stated he can't believe they don't come standard on a 64,000 car. And my response was that I don't know many that actually come standard.

Now this proves my ignorance. Luckily luxury cars are starting to make them standard. I didn't think they were because when I have customized my BMW (just looking onlline for fun) it was an option for the 335i; not a standard. Perhaps this is new for 2008?

On the projectors or projection headlights, many cars have that, but that still doesn't mean they have daylight temperature lights.

My Nissan

For what it's worth, this car came with Bi-Xenons as standard (dipped and main beam combined)

I resent it when people remove the badges from perfectly respectable vehicles. It looks much worse than when they were there in my opinion.

Fair enough debadge a Proton but not a Seat or a Vauxhall.

It's not about that though, its about smooth flowing lines, especially on a black vehicle. It is a very European mod, looks good IMO.

Have to get some new pics and put them up of mine then I suppose.

That Corsa looks like it's an irmscha (sp) version and iirc they do not come with vauxhall badges.

The Seat did come with a front badge and you've massacred its looks by doing what you have done to it.

My mum had a Corsa like that, 1.3 CDTi version and it was absolutely awful. Constantly breaking down and a horrible interior that felt like it was stuck in the 90s. Sorry!

My Corsa is a 1.8 SRi. Im 18 yrs old so its a great car for me at the moment. Had it for over a year, no problems whatsoever ;)

The Seat Leon Cupra is my dads, he never took the badge off, he bought the sports grill from the dealership (which doesn't come with a badge, to look sportier) Its a beast, 240 bhp i love it!

In all honesty though, I love this car. It handles amazingly, has an electric roof, heated leather seats and the most awesome alloy wheels ever! I usually get 45-50mpg on my runs to University which means it's perfect for what I bought it for. Manufacturer badges are intact, front and rear! ;)

Since I took these photos I've replaced the stereo with a Sony one which has proper iPod connectivity. It cost me about £100 and now I can just dock my iPhone when I get into the car and control it with the head unit. It works brilliantly.

Heres my pride and joy. Haven't taken any recent shots of it since I'm gonna get rid of it come spring, but these will do for now :)
