The resale value of more recent Volvos is abysmal.
I, too, like the C30 but I would never buy one new...

Nice Rover and S2000. My friends dad has an 05 S2000 and man that is a fun car to drive, amazing engine too.

Just bought a 2007 Honda Accord Euro L (sold as, I think, an Acura TSX in North America). Nice car to drive, but my (traded) 1995 BMW 318i still had a more solid feel to it, especially at higher speeds.

Around 8 million baht (on the road). Luxury motor vehicles import tax here is around 300%. A total rip off by a badly corrupted government.
Nice. I wasn't sure if it was a 7 or not. My dad used to have a 2003 SE7 but he traded it in and got my mom a Range Rover Sport 4.4 HSE. I have a 2000 Disco myself. The RRS is a nice car but I just love the rugged feel of the Discovery.

Old Volvos = not so safe. The newer ones from the mid 90's onward are MUCH better. Volvo currently makes some of the safest cars on the market. Now all of them are tanks in terms of breaking down, which they almost never do.
Just bought a 05' Nissan Murano SE fully loaded. More than excited for it to get back from having 4 new tires put on and detailing!
