Hey guys, kind of odd for a first post, I know! But here is my car, it is a 2005 Acura RSX Type-S....I thought some car guys in here might enjoy it.

Stats:
427.5whp 301.5 ft lb of torque(altitude corrected on the dyno)
Turbo is a Garrett GT3582r

Wow. How did you literally double the HP by turbocharging such a high compression engine?? That does not seem possible. Please give mod details. :)

I love the bronze on black, I had that scheme on my DSM. Sick numbers for an RSX too!

More to the point, how can you cope with 427HP in a front wheel drive car?! How long does a pair of front tyres last?

Looks very nice though, and I'm sure it's bloody quick when it's not spinning the wheels.

Brings new meaning to torque steer.

My MINI JCW has 230 HP/200+ ftlb (with 2600 lb. curb weight) and it already has a fair amount of torque steer.

It is a pretty simple build. the k20a2 and z1 engines are very stout for an inline 4, Honda knew what they were doing when they built these things. Time has proven that 500whp can be handled by the BLOCK, and 450 handled by the block/stock internals with no problems what so ever on a good tune(key here being the tune). Most guys, including my self shoot for around 425whp, as that is a fairly safe zone whp/tq wise. Here is a general list of what is done to it:
Peakboost Turbo Manifold/Garrett GT35r turbocharger/Tial 44mm wastegate/50mm Blow off valve
Full 3'' exhaust
RC 1000cc fuel injectors with a 6an feed/return line, as well as a walbro 255 in-tank pump
Competition clutch stage 4 clutch to hold all of the power down

If you would like to know anything else about the car, ask away, again, this is just a very broad list to give you an idea of what has been done. Pretty much I am just dumping a ton of fuel/air into my motor lol.

Thanks man! I love the black/bronze look, kind of a smooth look.

Haha, thanks man. Tires last maybe 10k miles before they are worn down and all over the road, if I baby it like I have been doing tires can last around 15-20k so it's not too awfully bad. It comes with the territory.

Yes, torque steer is horrible. If I don't feather my way into full throttle, it will rip the car literally off of the road, it is not safe at all lol.

How much boost are you running and does the RSX-S come with an LSD stock? If not, you really need one. :)

Here are a couple of my 1978 Ford F-150 4x4. Original engine, transmission (although it did need new seals), paint and interior with 80,000 miles on it. Even the original vinyl seat is like new, but I put a seat cover over it for protection. 6.6L (400 cid) V8 engine, automatic, AM radio, factory air, cruise and tilt. I have a 2008 Ford Fusion for my main driver. This one is just for fun.

I want of this car. What do you think,How much this car?
Porsches are awesome. The Porsche 911 series range in price (new) from about $70K+ for a base Carrera to $200K for a twin-turbo GT2. For a bit less money you can get a Boxster or a Cayman ($50K+). These are U.S. dollars.

Wow dude. So nice seeing a non-riced Honda!

Big props on the dyno, the tuning, and overall look of her. Ok ok...big props on everything :D I've already read that torque steer is a nightmare for you LOL. I can only imagine. What type of tires do you normally run on the street? I hope something sticky! Yours must be a real beast on the highway, though since I'm sure launching must be a real mess.

BTW, I'm just one of the simple guys here with a 3rd gen RX-7. Slow little car like yours. ;)

I haven't done much to mine as I only used to SCCA her and am not into drag racing.

My list of goodies:
Apexi Power FC + Commander
Running 13.5-14psi
Polished upper intake manifold
No cats with 3" downpipe and midpipe (environmentalists love me)
Borla Exhaust with dual tips (looks innocent :D )
Blue printed injectors
Turbo Y-pipe (better flow from both turbos)
Still have the stock sequential turbo system
Removed smog pump

And a few little things here and there. If I were to dyno her, I'd probably get something around 300-320rwhp. But if I were to weigh her, she would probably be around 2600-2700lbs.

Not much, but enough to be neck and neck with a 996 Turbo when we did a few 150mph runs. :D I've had her up to like 160-170+

Nice, thanks for the props! As far as tires, right now I am running Kumho ASX all-seasons as I will be driving the car throughout November and putting it up during the winter. For summer, I had BF Goodrich Drag Radials on the front. This summer I will be daily driving the car, so I will get some kind of high performance summer tire. Traction is a real issue with this car. Have any pics of yours?
