I have exactly the same. Same rims, also 2doors, and same color. Just dont tell me that your one is 2.0 TDI
:D

Hmmm, OK, I won't tell you, but in case anyone else might want to know, it's a 2.0 TDI .... sorry! Do you have the 1.4 FSI, I've heard good reports for sure?

..........its my favorite color!

Holy cow... first a Shelby, and then a gorgeous Challenger! Seriously, you both have wonderfully nice cars. I'm absolutely in love with all the new American muscle cars. Really nice to see them making a solid comeback and staying competitive in a time of SmartCars, Volts, and Priusus...

On the brightside at least we can go round corners

I can understand the sentiment after perhaps riding in a 1987 Taurus or something, but the more modern American performance cars are actually really good in that department. An SRT8 with ~$3000 in suspension mods and nice tires can pull 0.99g on a skidpad and that's still around the price of a VW Passat.

I can appreciate a good German car (although I've never fancied the styling behind BMW sedans), but I don't really think something has to be Alpine white with a black roof and black BBS wheels with stretched tires to be worthy of some fun curvy road driving.

The cheapest SRT-8 model that you can currently buy is the 2010 Charger, and after you put the mods on that you mentioned, you're now at $43k ($46.5k for Challenger). The Passat CC starts at $29k and only goes up to $40k for the top version. Also, for $43k, you could get a BMW 335i sedan, and still have ~$2k left over. Just throwing those #s out there.

Thanks mattcube64. I'm seriously enjoying my new car. My husband and I are in a muscle car club. He has a 1970 Challenger T/A Plum Crazy Purple with white interior!

With $3k in suspension it better - that number is embarrassing.

Have a 2005 Jeep Liberty I mentioned earlier, but I still can't find a pic of it, I'll have to take one...

But on another note, brand new 2011 Dodge Journey.

I hope it has blind spot detectors!
That car won't have blind spots if the mirrors are adjusted properly. Almost everyone doesn't know how to adjust mirrors. They set their side mirrors to show the back of the car. That is wrong and introduces the blind spots everyone complains about.

With proper adjustment, you'll never need to look over your shoulder and you won't have blind spots.

It's the first thing I teach my teen driving students, along with seat adjustment and proper hand position.

Yea but i drive on American roads. Just go to any expressway you will find what I call "Left Lane Rangers", going under the speed limit.

I drive on American Roads too. Adjust your mirrors! Stop acting out the Exorcist when driving.

I have the perfect solution to scare these idiotic drivers straight. Would also be a decent population control measure.

Send them to Germany and have them go on the Autobahn. They will be putting along in the left lane when a Ferrari comes up on their butt and crashes into them because the idiots don't know anything about the rules of the road. I figure around 60-70% of the drivers won't make it back. :p
