My Opel Corsa B is the ECO version of yours, and from 1996! It's one heck of a car i'd say! :)

It is. Thanks. Some hate it (older people like my grandparents :p)

Love the Mustang. My dad's got an 05 GT convertible, but he is selling it unfortunately. The plus side is that I get a car. The 300HP in the 05 is enough to put you back in your seat, I bet the new 5.0 is even better. Gotta love the sound too, I can't think of a car that sounds nearly as good for the price.

I drove an 2011 5.0 GT convertible for two weeks and wasn't impressed. I got it up to 127 MPH and didn't get that back in your seat feel even when flooring it.

I love the look of the 997. For me it's the best looking 911 since the original came out. With the new 991 I only like the back, they messed up the front with those far to chunky indicator/daytime running lights. Anyway, congrats on your great car.

My previous car was a Nissan 370Z. This Mustang is waaaaay more fun to drive! I love it! 412 horses and with my tuner that thing is a BEAST!

Good choice sir! +1 to that post!!

Thanks. Really liking the e30 shots of yours. I have yet to AutoX the 190, but plan on trying it after I install my coil-overs.

My close friend has an Alpine white 1990 e30 M3. Having driven both cars, it is amazing how similar they feel in some regards, but each have a distinct personality to them. The e30 M is quicker and lighter, but the 190 isn't too far off, and has a great balanced feel to it as well.

It's amazing how quick both of those 4-Cylinder cars pull at highway speeds.

The much nicer looking / better respected cousin to boot! :)

Don't get me wrong, I love my car and don't plan on parting with it, but totally like and respect the M3 too! :)

Most M3 Pilots don't know what my car is, I have even been accused of building it up to make a cheap "M3 copy", usually newer M3 drivers :( .

The all mighty 5.0! :D

This is my first car, I know I know, but I actually got it at a dirt cheap bargain that I could not refuse!

I get an average of about 20 miles per gallon, if i play nice i can get 21, and have even gotten up to 22MPG, But regular use is about 20 which is nice. I don't know who treats who better I take care of it, it takes care of me, American Muscle is IMO true epicness!

Some people just don't know their history!

I've had people ask "where'd you get that fender kit?". :p

My friend gets that with his Alpine White E30 M3, once a year at least :( .

It's the history of these cars that defines them. Otherwise it's just an old car that a 2011 Toyota Corolla S will beat... New cars get the spotlight for a short time, "vintage" cars (especially with some sort of famous history) will always be respected and desired.

The only people that seem to know what the 190 16V is, are usually Porsche drivers, e30 drivers, and occasional VW pilots. To others, it is just a Mercedes with a body kit slapped on. Which, in some ways is true. But the details are all lost.

^^^ For the most part yes. Unfortunately the E30 suspension doesn't have the dynamic camber gain that newer suspension offers, so it will have less grip in the corners. However, for the most part true, as its a very balanced car, and has more rubber on the road.

Newer cars are not getting any lighter though. Even the lightest BMW 1 Series is ~ 400 pounds heavier than my 190, which itself is heavier than the e30 M by about 130 pounds.

I am not saying older is better, it just has it's own benefits, as well as drawbacks!
