I agree! Before the 370 I had a 350.
That Z is waaaay cooler looking that the mustang though.

Newer cars are not getting any lighter though. Even the lightest BMW 1 Series is ~ 400 pounds heavier than my 190, which itself is heavier than the e30 M by about 130 pounds.
Actually I am probably wrong. I thought that the Corolla S was 200hp as well... It is however approx the same weight, and does carry the same tire width of 205/55. Apparently its 132hp...
Oops...
Either way, give me the classics vs this new stuff that is overly complicated, and much much too tall.

Blame it on US regs requiring stringent safety for non-buckled in passengers....which really is silly...among other things that bother me.
This is my 2011 VW Golf taken at the local fishing harbour five miles away. Great little car with excellent performance and good economy, delighted with it.
Glad to hear you're enjoying your Golf! I got my 2011 4-door at the end of June. I love it.
Just picked up my 4-door tdi today! Coming out of an R32, its a big difference, but I'm happy to be back in a manual and having 50mpg on the highway saves a lot of money!
Mine's a manual, but I'd actually prefer the DSG box. My Mum has DSG on hers and I love it, very smooth and effortless - I'll certainly go for DSG/Paddles in my next Golf.
I find the TSi has a greatbalance of performance and economy, I still find it hard to believe I'm driving a 1.4litre engine (albeit turbo-charged) as it performs way better than my previous 2litre car.
The dsg has always been more trouble for me then it was worth, but some people swear by it. We don't get the 1.4t here in the states, but I imagine it has some spunk if its anything like the 2.0t!
How about a video from inside my car? This is 7 minutes of NSX cockpit video on The Dragon this past Sunday. Turn your speakers on.
