I removed three badges from the back of my STi (Subaru, Impreza, AWD), leaving only the red STi logo. Fee free to vote me down three times. :p

Thats a point actually, My ZS was debadged at the rear too. four badges at the rear, one at the front, And Ive added club decals! So that should be what? 6 down votes? lol we're doing ok bud :p

I left the Acura badge off the nose of my NSX when I had it painted. I think it looks much better without.

Yeah, I don't see the problem in debadging. In your case, what's the worst that can happen? " Is that a Fiesta or a Mazda 121?!"

I also preferred taking the traces of my old Golf GTI being a GTI back in the UK.

It's been a month since NY State has deemed me good enough to have one of their driver licenses, and the Camaro Z28 I had my eye on last month is still for sale. When I went there last month they said I could finance it if I could trade in a car or put down $3000. My wife's grandma gave us a 'fixer upper' in her 2001 Ford Focus, and I need to go get the title transferred and register it on Monday, then get it running again. Once it's going, might take it to the dealer and say, how about this then... The Focus is about $4000 trade in on the blue book and the Camaro is a $10,000 car (yet it's been on their lot for about 3 months now).

I posted pictures of my 2011 Subaru Sti sedan before, but here is a really cool video of a production spec 2011 STi doing the Isle of Man TT run with a record time for a production car. Pretty cool. The page also links to a very glowing review of the 2011 STi 4 door.

Now that I've had the car for 7+ months I have to say it still kicks ass. One of the best values in a car I've ever had. E46 M3 performance, but costing $25K less.

Anyone here driving Ford Focus Hatchback 2008-2011?

I am planning to buy that car but still confused since i dont have any family or relation owning Ford's car before. :( i am afraid she's not worth the money (secondhand Ford Focus 2008 here is aroung 15000$)

Convince me guys! ;)

If it's one of the facelifted Mk IIs (european), then yes, I own one. Pretty nice car, though I'm not sure what your options are and mine has a 2 litre petrol engine, which I don't think is available in Europe. But overall, it was a nice buy. Mine's a 2010, bought it used with 5000kms on the clock for about $22000.

If you're in the USA though, I wouldn't bother, as the Focus sold there until 2011 were just uber MkI models, and they look hideous IMO.

My G8 GT and a buddy's C6 at the Park n Ride

I always find it weird seeing the G8's. They're so damn common where I'm from , the city where they're built (the front end is different, but there are a few actual G8's running around), so I never take a second look or even consider them anything more than another car.

But from your end, they're more rare and different, so must be cool... hrm.

I just traded in a 2007 Focus 1.8 petrol Zetec in last week, had it 4 years, averaged 33mpg and only repair needed was a suspension bush. Had very good handling / road holding and my wife misses it.

Traded in for this

When will Mini redesign the Coopers? At over a decade now for the standard hardtop models, they are awfully long in the tooth. A 2002 doesn't look any different than a 2012, for the most part.

Not saying they are bad looking cars at all, it's just that they all look the same, regardless of year.

The MINI platform changed with MY2007. The next platform for the standard Cooper and Cooper S is due sometime next year. BMW generally revises platforms only once every 7 years.

Yes, they look pretty much the same, but they are supposed to.

I'm quite glad they haven't changed much, they are supposed to look like a Mini. As long as it performs and looks good, why bother changing, it's worked well for Morgan and Caterham too.

And completely off topic, I feel the same about the iPhone too, if the iPhone 5/6 looks the same as the iPhone 4 but is faster, better camera etc. I'd still get one. Good designs don't get old only fashionable designs.
The original mini was a brilliant design and still looks good today but it doesn't have a 5 star NCAP rating, so I feel safer in my Current mini.

Not to whore it up toooo much here, but I can't resist...here are just a few pics from the other night:

I never really thought I'd be interested in a poor man's Audi, much less a Beetle; I've always thought VWs were kind of quirky cars for hipsters (and perhaps they still are) but I'm really loving this car, probably as much if not more than the wife. I'm secretly really jealous, and kind of think I might want a Turbo model for myself if the wife approves of me copying her, lol. It's probably one of the top 5 nicest interiors I've seen, because of the red dash, though the Turbo wouldn't have that (carbon fiber dash on all turbos). This car handles surprisingly well and with 170 hp five banger, it's not too slow for it's purpose, it has plenty adequate power to get around town and get out of its own way. Cruising at 70 is effortless, to the point it's hard not to speed, which I certainly wasn't expecting.
Very nice, it's a huge improvement over the previous generation one (which was fun to drive but looked pants).

I think the car in the photo is a Mini One, not a Mini Cooper.

They have had three major facelifts. The first is IMO the best looking, the newer ones look to big at the front.
The firsts are also the best to drive, a drivers car, but oh so unreliable
