Just picked her up Sunday. Absolutely LOVING this car!

2012 VW Golf GTi with sunroof and convenience package, 18" Detroit wheels. The bluetooth audio feature is the best!

As for looks, its about a 5 footer. The pics were from the seller, but I want to change out the black kidneys to chrome ones. Hopefully I will buy back my totaled 88 325is and pull some parts from that...

Love that car.... just need to throw a turbo in. Did you buy it like that or do the work yourself?

My 2001 Hyundai Elantra (fist car). Wasn't my first choice as I only had $3k to spend on a car. Driving it until it breaks, lol. Hoping to get a GTI in the future.

Picture is from when I first bought it. Has some minor scrapes and bruising of owning for two years.

Why turbo a nice BMW I6, especially one of the S5x? Those things have beautiful torque curves as is...Besides, I think he has enough power for an E30 now ;) Gorgeous car, by the way :)

Bought it mere hours ago just as you see. And no, no turbo/supercharger for me, as I am in Cali... It has enough power as it is for the weight. It really is a hoot to drive.

Not calling you out, but what does being in Cali have to do with it? (i'm actually confused, haha).

And @sysiphus the BMW I6 engines are turboed in the E9X and F30 series 335 models (twins in the earlier N54 engines and single in the newer N55). And those cars are awesome with that turbo, adds to horsepower (with a naturally aspirated engine you aren't getting the use of the full horsepower in output). I test drove the 2012 335iS coupe and will most likely be getting that when I get back from college for spring break and that car was amazing. Crazy fast for 320 horsepower with a turboed I6. Would have killed my Infiniti G37S (which has more horsepower and is lighter if I'm not mistaken), and Bimmer handled beautifully.

^^^ Try finding a place that will let you pass smog with a turbo, if you have an engine swap that did not come with one.(it is possible...but not legal) If it didn't come with the engine (intake on back to headers) it's not going to pass, especially as I am going to get this BAR certified like my last car. I don't need/want more power with this car though. It really is nutty quick. I've been test driving C4 vettes, S2000s, 330ci's and 330i ZHPs and this one called out to me ;-) Plus what electronics!?? ODB1 is so much more simple....

is it an e36 m3 i6? that's f'n awesome!
about the only thing i'd like more is an e30 m3.

^^^ Yes, and its the 3.2L I6 vs the 3.0L I6. And I do agree, I would trade it for an E30 M3, engine swapped or not...;)
that is super nice....
not sure i could change anything on an e30 m3, apart from the wheels. hard to mess with a piece of automotive history/true homologation racecar like that.

 Uhh, those cars/engines were DESIGNED around those turbos. The S52 is perfectly fine NA.

I'd pick your E30 over a ZHP. :)
Also, I love the RS's!
