I will say, owning an Audi is a terrible experience if you enjoy driving, especially if you want it to be maintained properly.

I hate to agree with this, but holy hell it is true. I had a 2005 B7 A4 2.0T Quattro and the just the routine maintenance was expensive. Dealership at the time was $95 an hour.

Fun car to drive though, especially in the snow. Build quality was really nice, but there were minor annoyances that were super annoying.

Couldn't say, never driven one. Had both an E30 325iS which was ok, and an E36 325i sedan which was hands down the biggest piece of mechanical trash I've ever owned and I haven't looked at BMW in 10 years since.

The 228i Msport is on my radar, but the pricing is asinine; a scantily optioned 228i Msport is close to $40k.

Here in the UK my dad has the M135i Coupe and has no problems what so ever since he has had it so upgraded intercooler & chipped and it's been around the Nurburgring Germany, Oulton Park UK & RAF Marham runway for top speed run.

2009 328xi manual tranny. Bought it when I had a 40 mile each way commute, now it just sits most weeks. Used for grocery and vacation runs. Looking at either an M3 or 911 997.2 C2S, but in no rush.

Nice car! :) I drive a 330ci (E46) myself, but possibly looking to upgrade as well. Perhaps looking at the Boxster or Z4. If I were in your shoes however, I would definitely consider the 997 GTS. You get the wider hips from the C4/C4S models, the optional power kit as standard equipment, centerlock wheels, different front bumper and side skirts as well as a more optioned car from scratch (probably lots more..). The GTS is what I believe to be the best all-round 911 money can buy. :)

Beautiful. Snow tires?

2014 Fusion Titanium.

Color is called Dark Side. Looks black most the time, is greenish/blue in the sun. Really is quite interesting.

Nope. Just the tires that came on there. No issues so far, and we got about 5" over the last 24 hours or so.

Nice Fusion BTW - liking that color.

It's been a while since I've posted here, but I finally purchased a new car right before Thanksgiving. It was really hard for me to find a car I was happy with purchasing, but I think this is it. I looked at the Cayman, the Boxster S, 370z, and a few other higher end cars. The Panamera is great, but the lack of manual transmission really knocked it off the list for me. Yes, the dual clutch is great and can shift faster than I can by far, but there's just something about driving a standard I really didn't want to give up. Plus, I could only afford the regular model and not the S, driving the regular model didn't really feel like it added too much on top of this.

I had this ordered, white, with the dark wheels and red calipers, new for 2014. It's a 2014 Focus ST, ST3 trim package, with full leather heated Recaros. You can see it next to it's sibling, a 2013 SE Hatch, which is what turned me on to this car in the first place. I never thought I'd buy an American car, but in the end, this is what made me smile the most. Even the regular Focus reminds me more of a European car's handling than the older generation of Focus ever did. I'm slightly concerned about long term reliability, but I purchased a ford extended warranty and maintenance plan through 100k miles.

Excuse the garage pictures, I took them two weeks ago when we were in the double digit negatives and didn't really want to venture outside. The car came with Goodyear F1's, I swapped them out for Blizzaks on the 2nd day of ownership. I'm not really going to do anything to this car either, I ordered the complete set of weathertech mats, and I got a clear bra put on the entire front, only thing left is 15% tint all around.

Beautiful ST. Absolutely love those and am jealous of those HIDs. The hooded text essentially are the exact thoughts I have regarding my Fusion Titanium (few posts up). I had an Acura TL before and was pretty set on a 2013-14 Accord Touring. Until I drove the Fusion. It drives incredibly well. Blows the competition out of the water, truly. I too am weary of reliability, but it's a lease so not my problem after three years if there are problems. I doubt there will be though, same with your ST.

Thank you. And interesting. Id have thought the stock tires would be sleds in the snow.
