I have only owned black cars in my life up until my recent white SUV which I love. I pushed for white again knowing the cleaning hassles but my wife won this round. One of those choose your battles after she gave the green light to move with the purchase.
Wanted to get black, but had no luck allocating an order.
A salesman that I had been talking to texted me that a customer didn't want to take delivery and I could have it if I wanted it.
This thing is a pleasure to drive!
Haven't broken her in so haven't played up high in the rev band and full boost.
But, in the twisties this thing is incredibly fun to drive.
I can't wait to do some track days with her.

They probably saw the dyno numbers. lol. Tons of people getting like 250-260 whp.
Straightened out. Don't know the full story yet, but it seems has to be dyno'd a certain way.
Guys are already trapping 109ish stock.
With tune for 93 there are a few guys trapping 115ish.
Cobb access port has already released. Tuners are seeing great numbers with just a tune. I plan on doing full exhaust, intercooler upgrade, and a turbo upgrade when someone makes on. 400 awhp is seems achievable.

I have a black RS1. Just over 1100m on it so far. Loving it! Tune+ with the access port is getting great numbers with their RS. As much as it kills me I think I'm going to be keeping mine mostly stock for awhile. It's my only car and daily driver so don't really want to get into modding too fast. Plus, stock it will still be extremely fun this winter. I'm sure there won't be any problems with a few mods and a tune but I figured I'd rather be safe and at least wait a year and see how everyone else's cars are holding up.
No argument from me. Mine is the same color and I have 2 sets of black wheels. They tie in nicely with the black mirror caps.
