The dealer had a bright yellow ST on the lot when I got this one. I considered it, but decided against it because of the added cost of the car and insurance when I take into account that I drive only 6 miles per day on average.

Even though this is an SE, it still kept up with an Audi A6 on the freeway one time. ;)

I can't complain at all about the fuel economy. On a flat road at 55 mph, I get 60 mpg on the instant reading.

Funny you say that... I saw a yellow ST on my way home today. Never really noticed them that often until fairly recently.

We recently bought my reachable/affordable dreamcar, couldn't be more happy with it :)

Looks great! Wish we could get these on this side of the pond. Love the interlagos. Looks like I'll be losing my VW Sportwagen TDi.... going to take the buy back. The car has really been great but don't want to have VW butcher it with their supposed fix. Replacement??? GTI, R or something else????

I've always liked this Volvo especially the R-design, even better in the UK they are not a common site.
I think the floating centre console (design wise) has held up well.

A forbidden fruit for my US friends ;-) I hope you like it. Got it a week ago. A 2016 Honda Civic Type-R GT in polished metal with the carbon interior package.

Stunner! I thought night hawk black would be the best colour but this grey is something else.

N.T.S must work even harder!

VW designers did a good job with this, I've taken a liking to it in Hulk green.

This looks really slick! We have no such model here in the states. What model is it? Would love to see more pics of it

Thank you, I really love the design. It was on the market in the Netherlands between 2008 and 2012, after this VW pulled it from the market because it was not popular enough. The thing was that for less money you could buy a more practical VW Golf (families, business-cars on lease contract). And Dutch people being very sensitive to practicality and value for money did not buy this model except for the few enthusiasts. Next to that, our tax-system makes cars ridiculously expensive to buy even compared to our direct neighbours in Germany/Belgium.

It is still being sold in Germany and Belgium, I'm not sure about other parts of the world. VW decided not to introduce it over the pond, maybe because of the same reasons it didn't stay on the market in NL for too long..

Zagato27, your Jetta would be my choice of a station, looks good! Indeed the Interlagos wheels look awesome, especially regarding these are VW OEM! Sad you have to let it go though, but really man, I think this whole TDi thing is blown out of proportion, your car drives great, who cares about a bit less fuel-efficiency...

Treated the car to some new wheels. Hoping the change to a more 'sort after' wheel will get some more interest in the car. Been up for sale over 10 weeks now and I've only had one viewer (and he was the worst guy I've ever met)! I guess that's what you get when you start to modify :D.

Did fall back in love with it a tad when I put them on though

Saw this for sale over on E38, wish I had the ££

Just don't take it in to be "fixed". Then again, if they buy it back and it helps you get an R, I can guarantee it's worth it. I've gotten 13,000 miles on my R already and only had it since September. So hard to keep yourself from driving constantly.

Nice! We actually used to have the Scirocco model here in the states back in the seventies and eighties, but it hasn't been available her e for many years. It sure as hell never looked like that, though! That is really stylish from all angles. Love it!

How are you liking that EX with the turbo? It's a pretty tempting looking little car!

Really liking it so far. Honda did a great job with the Civic in general this year. I think this is Honda's first turbo car. Glad they went with the Civic!

I think this is Honda's first turbo car.

I think the newer NSX is Turbocharged, although I could be wrong.

I think that most of the Japanese companies got kind of boring with their cars in the last 15 years, it is hard to find any of their cars with forced induction anymore. I am glad that Honda decided to put one in the Civic.

MINI x 2; both are Cooper S models but one doesn't have a fixed roof. :)
The hardtop is a 2015; the convertible is a 2007.

And here's a Pathfinder (2014 Platinum) for family stuff.
