It's been a great 12 years, but I'm moving on. The buyer is picking it up tomorrow.

What's next?

I've been doing a lot of soul searching regarding selling my 27 year old Camaro I've had for 18 years. Deep down I know the answer is to sell it this year, so I know the feeling.

The NSX was my daily and will be replaced by two cars. Something cheap with an air conditioner that I can drive to work every day and something old, noisy, & fast that I can take to cars & coffee, the drag strip, and occasionally to work. I've been looking at 60s restomods. Going to see this one tomorrow.

In 12 years I took over 2000 pictures of my NSX. Here is the very last one, taken as it drove away under new ownership.

Sigh. You're gonna miss that one. Ach, a Mustang! Not even a fastback. Looks like it has a Challenger pistol grip shifter. Nice looking engine and probably be fast but it looks a bit cobbled together...instruments, shifter, seats. Just doesn't seem to go together. How about a sleeper? Maybe an older Audi Avant RS4? Maybe even a STI. BMW 5M, older of course. Good luck with the hunt and post it when you get it. Cheers

If I didn't drive a Tesla, a Camaro would be at the top of my list.

Beautiful ride and congrats on your new family addition.

Thanks. I loved driving it home. Trying to prevent myself from going out right now just for a joy ride..... It is replacing my 2007 Saturn Aura which you can see in the background in the third pic.

I find reasons to drive now all the time versus dreading anytime I had to run to the store or pick up something.

I totally get that feeling and its fantastic.

I bought the noisy & fast half today. It'll be here Thursday.

Thanks for the redirect from the other thread, yeah, that's pretty fantastic. With that suspension/wheel setup, it's got that Mod-Rod look, which I just love.

There's a guy who I believe is from Daytona, see him occasionally at cruise-ins, meets, etc., anyway, he's got a '68 with fully done up modern suspension, big brakes, and a 5.4L motor/6-speed tranny transplant from a '11-'12 GT500. Fun stuff.

My 2016 iA. Mt first new car I've bought. I've had it for one year now (got it off the truck basically) and it now has ~ 13,000 on it. Love it. Great for slow-car-fast and gets 43mpg. When Scion was closing shop they were giving these away. Got it for $14,000 out the door and it comes surprisingly well optioned. Well built too, at least far better than anything else in that bracket. Credit to Mazda, who actually build this thing, on building such a spectacular cheap car.

I miss my 300zx sometimes though. The iA is many things but cool is not one of them.

Sad to see! But I do understand the feeling. A Honda perhaps as the new daily?

On their own, your trucks in the US look normal size.....

Then you stand them next to a UK spec Ford Ranger and you see quite how massive they are.

We have Rangers here as well, they went away for awhile but they are supposed to come back. My truck is around mid-sized by US standards :)
