His Name is Gizmo, he's just about to turn 8 years old in 2 weeks. He's just a Male Domestic Shorthair Tabby cat, but I think he has a bit of Maine Coon in him as he is very large ( 8kg!)What a splendid photo. Just how regal and majestic does that cat look…he’s gorgeous 😍
Can you give us his name and breed etc. please?…along with a few more shots of him if you can and/or don’t mind?
Andy
I can't seem to find the HEIC version of the first photo. Would love to see these side by side.
Yup, sorry, it's exactly these two shots that I haven't made out-of-camera HEIC versions of. (Almost?) all the other shots in the album ( https://www.flickr.com/photos/33448355@N07/albums/72177720302546937 ) have both versions. They do show how immensely better the 48Mpixel mode is.I can't seem to find the HEIC version of the first photo. Would love to see these side by side.
No problem, I just compared a different photo. I fully agree on the over sharpening when choosing HEIC. It also produces quite a lot more saturated images, when compared to RAW. Although we all know the latter format is always dull looking when done nothing to the DNG - always requiring post processing.Yup, sorry, it's exactly these two shots that I haven't made out-of-camera HEIC versions of. (Or, for that matter, the 12 Mpixel ProRAW if you just export those raws from Preview even w/o any editing. No oversharpened mess. Of course, there won't be a resolution advantage then.)
Qrio was incredible! I actually found out about Qrio before aibo. And now I have almost 20 different aibos from all generations of the product as well as became one of the 4 US ambassadors for the product! Really cool hobby! aibo doesn’t disappoint as a companion, I will give it that for sure!Oh man I really wanted one of those Qrio! Thanks for clarifying the name.
I remember reading a news clip eons ago after sales failed and that a preschool in California (I think) and when the robot fell down the children would help it standing up. Even tho it could automatically do it itself. The kids in this trial also would confide in the robot and didn’t see it as such but a real companion. Really interesting stuff yet cannot find the article.
Always wanted to stop by when it was first opened but keep forgetting. Finally checked out the newly restored Apple Tower Theatre here in LA! Decided it's a good excuse to take pics.
