It's a ghost from the light you shot straight at (kind of like a little flare). Perfectly normal when you have a harsh direct light in the frame.

Out with the dog this evening using a 6. No editing, no nothing. Just pulled it out and took the photo.

Took this one using the 6 just before complete darkness to see how it did in low light. Impressed. It was a clear evening but was taken 48 minutes after sunset.

Anyone having trouble with video? When I take a video with the front camera I get audio. When I use the main camera in back, nothing except a static sound. Do both cameras use the same mic?

Here is a comparison between the default camera and the Cortex camera app. If any of you want to get amazingly clear images from your iPhone (day or night) then you have to get cortex camera. The only lighting I had for this shot is a lamp and the TV. Notice that there's no noise in the image to the right compared to the default camera (HDR ON) and it has noise.

Anyone know why a picture loses quality when u make it ur background. Just noticed this on my 6. Never on any previous iphone.

Is a bug in iOS 8 (stil present in 8.0.2 as well)
--iOS 7 didn't had that bug.

Took my 6+ to the DUMBO Art Fest tonight in Brooklyn, wanted to see what it could do. To see if I could not take out my regular P&S.

Didn't take it out once. Had to link the pano's they were to big to attach.

Oh edit to add, some shots taken with Camera+ in manual mode to keep the ISO low
