First quick shot taken on my iPhone 6 after setting it up, low light outdoors night shot, auto HDR on. Pretty happy with the camera in this thing!

Wow, thanks for the examples! All great photos, actually much better than I expected. Especially the low light night shots! No more distorted noisy grainy photos. Can't wait, the 6 Plus should FINALLY be here Wed after a long and painful "processing." wait! :)

I have been super busy so no time to get creative yet but took a picture of my dog in a waterfall, and a tasty lemon grass chicken bahn MI.

I'm anticipating some amazing shots over time with this phone.

Here is a silly video I made with time lapse/imovie

Right, they always were, that's why I'm upset with what I'm seeing now out of the 6/6 Plus camera. I'm saying it looks like they threw up their hands and gave in to the temptation because it's the "easy" way to eliminate grain, and it sucks. I personally would prefer to see the grain, you can always apply NR yourself later but once it's baked into the photo you're stuck with it, you can't back it off. I wish they would at least let you control the amount of NR applied, a slider or something. Bleh.

I mentioned this on Friday. My iPhone 5 shows more grain but iphone 6/6+ show more noise reduction smearing.

Awesome shot, thank you for posting it :)

Crazy how you can zoom in to see all the individual hairs on the bee or even tiny bits of pollen hidden deep on the inner part of the flower leaf

Thanks! First time I've ever gone 'wow' to one of my own photos, hehe, usually they're rather average. I'm definitely noticing an improvement over the 5S.

I do notice the 'smudginess' in the background but the detail in the foreground makes up for it imo.

Photo taken with iPhone 6. The biker was moving really fast and it froze him. No burst shot. Just one press of the shutter.

I also shot some slow-mo video with the iPhone 6. See notes of how the video was taken with the phone.

Awesome photos guys, they keep getting better!

Quick question - better to keep HDR on Auto or Off? Is there any difference?

taken with iphone 6. Shadows and exposure upped a hair with native editing tools. Looks like a little bit of smudging with sufficient light, but nice contrast and focus.
