Is the iPhone camera still so horrible in the dark? I always see the damn green dots from the camera reflecting in most of my pictures at night / low light (lens flare?). I have been noticing this since the iPhone XS days and it seems to have gotten more obvious with more cameras they are adding. Same on my 12 Pro Max. Somehow, I do not have it on my cheap Galaxy A52 from work ... I guess the placement of the camera is partly to blame? Any tips how to avoid them? Obviously I cannot move a skyline to take a better picture lol For now I try to place my camera so the green dots are sort of hidden / merging with whatever building is seen in the shot, so the dots do not appear in the black part of the sky

I would demolish them plates in a heartbeat and then the one hiding in the corner. 😋🤤😂 can’t beat deep fried fish & chips 👌

Check my picture on the page before this. It takes Fantastic pictures at night/in dark settings

Wow, some of these pics are incredible. This thread is probably enough to sell me on upgrading from an XR to the 13 Pro. Have been giving serious consideration to keeping my XR and buying a Sony RX100 VI/VII or Canon G5 to take better family snaps, but I'm really starting to believe that the 13 Pro is more than capable.

I read that lensflare was software removed via ios15. But this was still before the official release.
Maybe someone can say if it really works

Don’t think it is, I’ve just snapped a shot of the lamp in my hotel room

As you can see, it produces the green dots at the side, maybe someone can take a proper photo tomorrow to confirm
