Wales is beautiful. I hope to visit my family there one day. We have a train ticket from one station there that has an incredibly long and hard-to-pronounce name. The ticket has been in the family for years, since I was a kid (I'm 65 now).

The top comment of that youtube video: LMAO

"Help. I'm dying"
"Stay calm, sir. What's your location?"
"Just let me die."

and I thought that supercadrifadulousthatmakesmealligocious song from the OG Marry Poppins was radical & funny. this place actually exists!

Wow ... I swear, not being an ass, kinda looks like The Shire from Lord Of The Rings (a bit). Is that a small house on the left by the tree? I know it shouldn't be but ??

Just getting used to this WQHD display I have from LG ... freaking my eyes out late-night after a 14hr shift. I need to sleep seeing things. I do like this pic still. Lots of contrast, warmth of the sunlight, the fern-like leaves look sharp & detailed.

Now both models have the exact same camera features, it's even more difficult to decide which one to buy....! Looking forward to the photos being posted on here.

A quick question, with all these different camera lens, can you just point and shoot and zoom in it out, and the phone takes care of everything else including which lens it uses? You haven't got to worry about selecting a specific lens?

Yes and no.

  • On first opening the camera app you are offered a choice (on Pro & Pro Max) of 0.5 / 1x / 3 cameras. These open at their default 'optical length' setting
  • You can (but generally shouldn't) then zoom in / out with a scroll wheel, which uses a software zoom from the closest lens - this is essentially a crop of the full picture, and therefore of reduced quality - which may or may not matter to you depending on the picture eg: zooming out from 1x with the wheel will drop to a zoomed version using the 0.5x lens
I was taught to zoom with my feet wherever practical.
