Pixel 6/Pixel 6 Pro

They are not that different size wise. With the Pixel 6 I get a flat display. The Pixel 6 pro a slight curve but bigger display....

I already know I’m going to like the regular 6 chassis better. If this were my main phone, the huge size of the 6 Pro and even regular 6 would be a substantial problem for me and I would not get either of them.

My ideal size for a daily driver is the iPhone mini. Sadly my vision has been wrecked by the transition to the 13 Pro’s display and I’m still getting surprisingly intense pain looking at the mini display.

sigh…anyway…I’m getting the 6 Pro to see what Google has done when using going all out on the cameras including pervert zoom. 😆. Out here in the country and at the beach where I usually vacation, a good zoom comes in handy.

If the skunks ever come back I’ll try and get a good photo of one for you all. Definitely using a zoom for that! But one of the feral male cats I take care of has paid the price and chased them off. He was stinky for quite awhile but so smug and satisfied with himself. 😄 I’m grateful to him, because once when it was dark out, I almost pet one of those skunks thinking it was one of my outdoor cats! 😝

I find my IPhone 12 Pro best for size... That's my small phone lol.. Well Flip 3 is best lol

Be great to get the Pixel Buds. I had a brief stint with some on my 4XL (not the 'a' series that came out more recently) and they were great apart from the buzz in the left one when not playing music.

Very off putting.

But I'd take some to use exclusively with the Pixel 6 and use my AirPods Pro with my Switch, and iPad mini.

I like Mr. Mobile. But I have not watches one of his reviews in ages. He used to be pretty objective. Like iJustine, he started as an actor so some of his presentations do come across as performative. But he does put the phones through their paces and covers them pretty well.

Lol when I started getting into MCU with the kids I thought it was a shame Michael Fisher wasn’t ever up for the role of a young Howard Stark. Especially after watching “Agent Carter”. Sorry, if you all don’t follow Marvel movies and shows, you won’t have any idea what I’m babbling about. But now I can’t see Michael Fisher without thinking of him as Howard Stark. That should make watching his review more interesting. I’ll expect him to push a button on the Pixel and lasers will shoot out.

Well apparently in the UK some merchants will offer the Pixel Buds. I don’t know what US customers will get, if anything. I would love to get some Pixel Buds. My AirPods Pro have been great when they deign to work. I’m not going to spend big bucks on AirPods again anytime soon given how unreliable my AirPods Pro have been. My purple Galaxy buds have been reliable. I’ve really wanted to give Pixel Buds a try. I was hoping, though, that they’d have new ones to present to us.

Someone on my Twitter feed that’s a Stadia content creator managed to get a Pixel 6. Looks sexy as hell.

Hope they price it decent. I'm still undecided. How many pixels can one have on hand? o_O 🤔 I do suspect the server might crash however lol.
 
Man, those bezels on the regular 6... whew. But I'll probably get the 6 because of the price and the even bezels, which matters a lot for me.
 
Just seen a tweet from Google that say preorders go up the same time as the event... so time to make your model / colour choices if you haven't already!
I am predicting a quick sell out of the Pro.
It happens every year (apart from the 5) - they are always quick to sell out but other retailers generally have good stock levels!

I am swaying to gold... the white looks too 'white' to me now and loses that two tone look with the top piece about the camera.
Plus, I've been really loving my cream Z Flip 3 which this looks a little like colour wise! :)

I've been dead set on the white Pro, but the yellow/gold also looks really nice. And the camera bar I originally said I hated has really grown on me.
 
Aaaaaaagggghhhh. I am trying to get my Samsung to play the livestream but there was some sort of update. I just updated the phone a few days ago. There’s another one? So it’s updating.

I’ve got one phone on the Best Buy App just in case. My mini on the Google store and I’m going to pay for this later with an eye ache. Sigh.

And my 13 Pro I’m posting on. Which is also the one I set up the Best Buy app on.
