Yeah those fixes were posted on the main forum ages ago. Unfortunately they don’t work for most of us. In my case, the eye pain on the mini will happen with me just checking and responding to my texts for a few minutes. The really bad problems I had in the past was during plain old reading the forum and doing my emails.
The Galaxy S7 Edge made my eyes water sometimes but didn’t cause me migraines. Yeah I can use my Samsung phones just fine. The only time I couldn’t was when I was recovering from whatever the heck my XS Max did to me. I watched a movie on it then went to use it in the kitchen. I think the combination of the flicker from the LED in the recessed lighting fixtures in tbe kitchen ceiling and the flicker in the screen gave me a seizure migraine.
Apple does something with the displays in addition to the pwm that bothers people. They do something called temporal dithering on the LCD displays. That was actually worse. I couldn’t stand the display on my SE 2 and traded it to Apple to get a discount on my oldest daughter’s 12 Pro last year. Come to think of it, I found the display on my Xr very harsh, too, and that’s no OLED. The easiest displays on my eyes and brain were the ones on the iPhones 6 Plus-8 Plus and the display on my Pixel 3XL.
What I did not like about my 3XL was the battery life and the tactile feedback of the keyboard. But it was and is a nice display to read on. Unfortunately it had awful black crush or whatever you call it when you are trying to look at a dark scene in a dimly lit environment. I could not watch videos or look at photos or even really take photos and see the results in the evening in dim lighting. Everything looked like mud.
I do hope Google has solved that issue on subsequent phones.
I remember Nexus launches being bad in the past.Google is getting crucified on Twitter. They managed to ruin a months worth of good PR in the buildup of this release in one hour. Impressive.
I ordered it through the app. I received an email notification as well. Just search for Pixel 6 in the app and scroll down past the older Pixels and the 6s should be purchasable.
I ordered from BB on website... Let's see...I ordered it through the app. I received an email notification as well. Just search for Pixel 6 in the app and scroll down past the past Pixels and the 6s should be purchasable.
Live transcription for the call menus and also a graph showing phone wait times.I wasn't watching the video. What's new about it?
Thanks, I was able to order a regular 6 in sorta seafoam for pickup on the 28th and it comes with the free buds.I ordered it through the app. I received an email notification as well. Just search for Pixel 6 in the app and scroll down past the older Pixels and the 6s should be purchasable.
Me too buddy, me too. I’m not even mad. I’m too stunned to be mad. What a 💩 show.I have been on the confirm purchase screen for awhile now and it concerns me that I just got an email saying my order has been canceled (phone and buds) since they couldn't "validate all my info". What the heck is going on Google?
I never saw those storage options being an option anywhere. I think Google did its usual dirty of making the special color very limited and restricted at launch. Was anyone able to get a Pixel 6 Pro in Sorta Sunny in either the 256 GB or 512 GB storage tier?
yeah when I added to my cart at 10am all they had was 128, Verizon however offered all versions so I was able to get it with themI never saw those storage options being an option anywhere. I think Google did its usual dirty of making the special color very limited and restricted at launch.
