I ordered a White 6P from Amazon but i'm still trying to complete my order with Google because of the trade in. What a mess.

Yeah those fixes were posted on the main forum ages ago. Unfortunately they don’t work for most of us. In my case, the eye pain on the mini will happen with me just checking and responding to my texts for a few minutes. The really bad problems I had in the past was during plain old reading the forum and doing my emails.

The Galaxy S7 Edge made my eyes water sometimes but didn’t cause me migraines. Yeah I can use my Samsung phones just fine. The only time I couldn’t was when I was recovering from whatever the heck my XS Max did to me. I watched a movie on it then went to use it in the kitchen. I think the combination of the flicker from the LED in the recessed lighting fixtures in tbe kitchen ceiling and the flicker in the screen gave me a seizure migraine.

Apple does something with the displays in addition to the pwm that bothers people. They do something called temporal dithering on the LCD displays. That was actually worse. I couldn’t stand the display on my SE 2 and traded it to Apple to get a discount on my oldest daughter’s 12 Pro last year. Come to think of it, I found the display on my Xr very harsh, too, and that’s no OLED. The easiest displays on my eyes and brain were the ones on the iPhones 6 Plus-8 Plus and the display on my Pixel 3XL.

What I did not like about my 3XL was the battery life and the tactile feedback of the keyboard. But it was and is a nice display to read on. Unfortunately it had awful black crush or whatever you call it when you are trying to look at a dark scene in a dimly lit environment. I could not watch videos or look at photos or even really take photos and see the results in the evening in dim lighting. Everything looked like mud.

I do hope Google has solved that issue on subsequent phones.

I shall be getting the pro long live mmwave

This is beyond ridiculous. Tried for the past hour and error and page not loading, or out of stock.

I give up for now.

Google is getting crucified on Twitter. They managed to ruin a months worth of good PR in the buildup of this release in one hour. Impressive.
I remember Nexus launches being bad in the past.

I guess the phones were more popular than everyone expected? Not sure how that will ruin any PR-the way everyone hates on them for everything else on the internet, this is just another notch to the bedpost. Lol

I have been on the confirm purchase screen for awhile now and it concerns me that I just got an email saying my order has been canceled (phone and buds) since they couldn't "validate all my info". What the heck is going on Google?

How is it possible a 1 trillion company is relying on a substandard web store? These guys built their fortune on the backs of the Internet. I'm actually considering cancelling my order with Amazon and sticking with phones from last year.

Okay my husband wasn’t able to get it. We tried Best Buy but they were sold out in an instant.

I got an email from Google saying my order is canceled because they can’t verify my information.

What? I’ve been paying them for Google One for at least two years now on the basis of that information!

That’s so messed up I can’t even…

It’s a freaking lie! The credit card is fine and has never given me problems and they’re not even saying it was denying my purchase. My address is right there on the order.

What can’t they verify?

£59.40 with discount line for 128GB and 10gb of data on EE. Might just ring them tomorrow and put in my perk discount to see if can get more off.

Was anyone able to get a Pixel 6 Pro in Sorta Sunny in either the 256 GB or 512 GB storage tier?
I never saw those storage options being an option anywhere. I think Google did its usual dirty of making the special color very limited and restricted at launch.

I can’t really and won’t order anywhere else. This whole house of cards was predicated on me being able to trade my green 12 mini in. Also as a Google One customer I was offered $109 off my order. This is not a comfortably affordable proposition if I do a desperation buy somewhere else and I’m also not spending money on a model I wasn’t originally planning to get. I wanted the zoom because it makes sense to my use case.

But wow how dare they cancel an order. Just inform the customer there’s a back order situation. There’s a chip shortage. Have faith in my good will. Don’t pull a fake excuse out of your butt, Google.

yeah when I added to my cart at 10am all they had was 128, Verizon however offered all versions so I was able to get it with them

To be blunt. I lost all excitement for this device after dealing with Googles total dumpster fire of a website for the past 30 minutes.

I am aborting plans on being an early adopter. I don't want to deal with my carrier networks at all. The big draw to Pixel was the shopping experience my last 2 phones, and not having to talk to AT&T or VZ.
