If Apple music is working for u them u must only be uploading your local stuff with a small potion of Apple music catalog., since Apple music doesn't seem to mess any of that uploaded songs up. only matched ones its stuffs up and syncing of those and/or massive amounts from Apple music itself.

Since this is true, u may as well be using iTunes match or Spotify..

I don't understand how it can't be affecting, since its a known issue.... My only thing i can think of is either:

(1 most users who don't have problems are the ones matching most of their library where the songs are not there, otherwise if it was matched chances are it would also be replaced too (unless no song is matched, possible, but not likely) or

(2 only a small potion is added though the Apple music catalog, most are uploaded/matched. or

(3 related only to the account (based on the reports this is clearly not possible) because its too common to be an account issue, plus Apple engineers are aware of the issue already, so it can't be account related, otherwise there would of been a fix.

I'm seriously thinking to stay with Apple Music.

I don't know. Despite all the whining and complaints, personally I feel that Apple Musics UI is way better and more logical compared to Spotify.

One of the biggest annoyances with Spotify for me is the way it organizes the music you save. It's either Artist or Albums. If you search Artist from your own music it just shows a huge list of songs from that artist instead of categorizing them by album. Thats annoying and illogical to me. And if you search for album it categorizes them alphabetically instead of by artist. I hate that. Thats definitely something where Apple Music shines. Also in Apple music it's much easier to get directly to the artist page from your own music. Just a single swipe.

I also like Apple's radio channels and curated playlists. Much better than Spotify in this area.

Oh... And I LOVE the For You section. It's spot on and I've discovered bunch of new music because of it.

PS. Yeah, it's little bit buggy right now but I believe it'll get better soon enough.

I guess not, I don't listen enough music to keep it. Though I am going to use Beats 1 replay if it's available for free.

I just haven't used it enough to justify the monthly cost. The music I want to listen to is already on my iPhone, or can be copied across simply from iTunes. I could buy an album a month instead and actually own the music, which is what I'll carry on doing.

I'm leaning towards renewing. At first when Apple Music came out I was disappointed. The more I use it the more I like it. There are still all alot of bugs and missing some features, but for the most part I like it. I also hope to use it on the new Apple TV.

I liked spotifys playlist better, but the integration of apple music and I like the top charts genres better, artwork, and I can get a lot more value at 14.99 than spotifys. Only apple music problem is how it always signs me out on my MacBook. Other than that i'm a happy camper.

I have a little over a month left. The decision for me is whether to keep it or go back to iTunes purchases and "acquiring" only. Apple Music is the first streaming service I've used. I still prefer to purchase music and have it stored locally since I have limited data to share with the rest of my family on Verizon. And after flying this weekend, I hate paying the ridiculous fees for airline wifi. Sure you can download for local storage, but that seems to take up more space through iCloud Music Library than it did syncing between through iTunes. I'll have to wait and see what improvements are made.
I do like that Apple Music is one library integrated with your own iTunes library. I never got into Spotify since I couldn't use my existing iTunes library with it.
My thoughts exactly-I intend to keep it as a new music discovery or "try before you buy" service as I still prefer my "owning" music.

I'm staying but come Sept 30th Apple will have to be offering stuff to keep people on board etc, like maybe The Beatles back catalogue

I hear that. Whenever I discover an album that I really love on a streaming service, I usually go ahead and buy it. I won't always pay to stream music every month for the rest of my life, but certain music I do want with me for the rest of my life.

Let's face it, this launch has been botched in almost all ways possible. I was toying with the idea of starting a thread called "More features for Apple Music", suggesting it should also delete all data from your Documents folder, replace all your photos with random artwork from the AM library and set your default e-mail program to Connect, but I don't want to give Apple ideas.

The absolute worst about AM: 1. plethora of errors (see this forum for a list), 2. no Android app (just... why) and 3. no 100k limit. The last two absolutely had to be introduced a few weeks ago at least. AM has been unleashed upon unsuspecting public way, way too early. And it looks like nobody is going to lose their job over that, maybe some engineers we don't hear about, but definitely not Mr Cue or Dr. Dre. Maybe Ian Rogers has been made a scapegoat. But really, heads should roll. If they waited three more months and went through actual beta testing process, released the Android app on launch day and increased the iCloud limit to 100k immediately, there would be Gods know how many more millions of people sticking with the service and showing a finger to Spotify and others. Today is September 27, it's too late for both limit increase and Android app. I know Apple have absolute truckloads of money and they can afford to lose a billion here or there. Maybe that's why nobody cares about the users who have been repelled off AM. "Meh. But while we're at it, here's a Colette iPhone" – Tim Cook.

Leaving because they haven't yet implemented the 100k limit they promised with iOS 9. With a large collection ripped from my CD collection, I will have to stick with playlists and syncing through iTunes. I'd like to use the Music Discovery aspects, but that's not enough for me for that price. If they ever get round to implementing the 100k limit, I'll give it another shot.

Having never experienced Spotify, or any streaming service for that matter, I think I'll stick with it. I only have a few small gripes.

1. Some songs on created playlists, especially Beats1 playlists, aren't accessible for some reason(greyed out)

2. I've had songs disappear from my music library or become unavailable when at one point they were available.

3. The "For You" section has been almost completely useless to me.

4. Beats1 plays way too much hip hop for a non-genre specific station.

On the positive, I seem to discover new music on a daily basis. My catalog has grown quite a bit.

This is my problem, I prefer to purchase my music, and I have an iTunes Match subscription. I really like the playlists that they have and the fact that I have to buy music. However, if for some reason I run into a financial hardship in the future, then the Apple Music subscription would probably be the first thing to go. I will probably dump it after the trial, and if the price can ever come down, that may be enough to bring me back in.

I doubt streaming prices will come down anytime soon.

Up if anything.
Yup. It's a bargain as is. When I was younger I spent WAY more than $10 a month on records/CDs. I couldn't sustain that kind of music budget at this point in my life. I got kids to feed. $10, I can handle, and it gives me access to almost everything I could want.

Yes, (In fact, I just just turned off auto-renew about an hour ago)

But my reasons aren't in the poll. Going to another music service is not the only reason to cancel...

• "Yes - Saving $10 a month"
• "Yes - Android version is not released yet."

Honestly the family plan rate is the biggest feature keeping me on apple music.

A couple personal gripes about apple music:

  1. No notification system(spotify) for when followed playlists are updated.
  2. No savable/customizable radio stations
  3. No landscape view. Imagine poor mans carplay
  4. No way to turn off explicit content only for music. With the new update this also censors my podcasts. I need it turned off only for music when the kids are in the car not during my commute when I'm listening to podcasts.
  5. Downloaded/offline music doesn't stay downloaded. I'm not sure when this happens, maybe they get removed with the recent os updates, but I find that previously downloaded playlists and music needs to be re-downloaded.
  6. Not being able to go back to the playlist the song I am listening to is associated with. I'm listening to a track I've found through a "90's R&B" playlist. I exit out of the music app and want to see what other songs are on that playlist. I have the options to see the entire album for the song I'm listening to but not related songs contained on the playlist I was listening to.
There are probably more but these are the day to day frustrations i have.

Apple Music / Music App on iOS/ iTunes on OS X....garbage design.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but Spotify's app has a more cleaner design than the Music App. Apple filled it with so much crap like Connect and Beats 1.

The last time the Music app was clean and easy to use was like iOS 5 or something.
