Yep, use a tempered glass screen protector on both the iPad and the iPhone. Always have. If you buy a high quality tempered glass model it's barely noticable and pretty easy to put on.

I have been using a PaperLike screen protector for about 6 months on my iPad Pro because it improves my handwriting and sketching. I find that the glass surface of the iPad is too smooth. The PaperLike screen protector was designed to mimic the feeling of pen on paper.

I have a tempered glass protector for both my iPhone 6S and iPad Pro. Since I paid good money for both, I’ll definitely make sure I get the best screen protector for them.

I have never used any screen protectors and we have all marble floor at home.

*looks for a wooden surface to knock on

Nah, I don't bother for my iPad.

My iPhone I do, though. That gets jostled around, bopped, and left in the same pocket as other things. It also gets a ton more use.

never had a screen protector on my iPad until the pro....the pen tip seems to put tiny scratches into the screen (even though the tip is clean)

From time to time, somewhere here and there these kind of complaints do keep popping up ! I wonder if anybody has no complaints using a Apple Pencil and not having a scratch. On their bare naked screen, without a protector or tempered glass !

I do on my 10.5" iPP because I find they are less susceptible to fingerprint smudging and are easier to clean. I don't see any degradation in display quality or effect on pencil use. Showed my wife after I put it on and I had to point out to her what was different - very unobtrusive.

I just dropped something on my Samsung tab s2 and it landed right in the middle of the screen. No damage done but it made me glad that I had a screen p. on it. The thing is u never know, and those iPad pro screens r so expensive to fix. I did crack the screen on my old Google Nexus. I had it in my carry bag and it must have gotten banged on or in there. Don't know if a s.p. would have saved it. It had none.

Never on my iPads as they always had a protective case. Used to use them on my phones long ago, but no longer. Love the feel of the bare surface.

Aren't you guys bothered about not using a screen protector on your iPad while using it, what if while using it gets a scratch ?

Nope. My iPad rarely leaves home, and I'm careful with it anyway. The only thing on it is a folding case.

On my iPad Pro 12.9 I don’t have a screen protector as it’s in a case .

On my iPad mini I have a matte anti-glare filter as this is also used outdoors for controlling my drone.

I never used a screen protector on my iPads. The Air 2 was the first one that I considered it. It was a fingerprint magnet and was quite distracting. As bad as the Air 2 is, the 12.9 Pro is worse. I recently applied matte screen protector on my 12.9 Pro. The difference was amazing! No glare. No fingerprints. Text is still crisp. Screen is still bright. (bonus: using the Apple Pencil felt better too) After a few minutes of using my 12.9 Pro, my wife instantly wanted one for the Air 2. A week after using one on her Air 2 she said, "I want this screen protector on every device!" LOL

I did have one for my Air 2 originally, but once it got old and worn, I removed it and didn’t replace it. It was a glass version that was also resistant to fingerprints. I keep saying to myself how the fingerprints annoy me now, but I never bring myself to put on a new protector. I most likely won’t. I just use a microfiber cloth to periodically wipe it down. It’s already in a case that covers the screen. Maybe when I finally get a new one.

The first thing I would do is put case and screen protector after I unboxed anything. I have case and screen protector on ALL my phones and iPads.

Don't want any scratch or any dent. Accident can happen
