My First L

Picked up a used EF 24-105 L lens for my DSLR. My first L lens :D Unfortunately, it probably won't be my last :eek: So many toys, so little money.

That my friend..... will be your downfall... L lenses are like crack... once you get a taste of them you can't stop... trust me on this... (on the L lens part anyways, never tried crack myself but know it's adicting)

I looked at that one as well, but then decided that the fact (in here) it would cost me 4 times as much and had a 4 week delivery time wouldn't work for me at the moment, so i went with the 276. (Currently using a Samsung 24" Wide half broken, thanks to my new kitty...)

Happy to read another positive remark about it, tkz =)

:( Yeah, I know. I haven't even received my 24-105 yet and I'm already looking at two more L lenses....(sigh)

So it begins....

Ha. That's just the tip of the iceberg my friend. A high end custom made headphone are up in the $1500 range.

Some people just love their high quality music and i don't blame them. These aren't people however just walking around with iPhones for the most part. These guys have amps connected to their devices and nothing but losless music. Expensive hobby, but what isn't?

What kind of driving requires a $50K+ car? What kind of driving requires wheels worth 1000$ each?

And that bottle of wine, who cares if it's worth 100$, you can get some for 5$ at the grocery store. ;)

(IMO it isn't worse than smoking, good earphones don't cause cancer and aren't burnt, you get to keep them forever if you take care of them.)

One for my wifey and one for the step daughter.

Unfortunately, I had trouble adding AppleCare+ at the time of the order but the apple rep on the phone and the store rep said I'd be able to purchase afterward but try to come in asap after the 14th to get the +.

Hope it works out right. :eek:
